Joshua Perry.
Former Professional Athlete. Survivor. Speaker. Coach

I was born and raised in Cape Cod, MA. My father bought me my first BMX bike when I was just a kid and it almost immediately consumed my life. I worked tirelessly at perfecting my craft while my mother drove me all over the country for camps, sessions and competitions. At 17 years old I was given an opportunity to train with the best of the best, and though it was thousands of miles from home and I had not yet graduated high school, I didn't think twice and moved to Greenville, NC. I moved up to the professional level of competition quickly and was riding Dew Tours, X-Games and competing internationally at the highest possible level.

I felt as if everything I had been working for my entire life, and everything I had dreamed about was playing out in front of my eyes. I was only 21 years old and I felt like I had everything. But, after a nasty crash, my life was threatened. I had hit my head and went to a local urgent care to make sure something more serious wasn't happening. I had no damage from the crash, but their was a brain tumor taking up the left half of my brain. Immediate surgical removal was necessary. I came out okay and defied all odds by getting back on my bike only five weeks later.

That was in 2010. Now, almost a decade later my life has shifted in some wonderful and very unexpected ways. After two more brain tumor diagnosis, I began researching health and nutrition. I was determined to prioritize my health and take the longevity of my life and the vitality of my brain into my own hands. I became certified through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, I read countless research articles, stacks of books and communicated with every expert I could.

All of my research led me to cultivating a life where love, health and happiness are my first priority. I take full responsibility for my mental and physical state and I feel like a healthier, happier and more productive individual because I prioritize my brain's health. My goal is to share this with friends, family and anyone who will hear me out! I want the world to know how good they can feel by prioritizing their well being and making simple changes. I will do this continuously and tirelessly through public speaking and ketogenic diet consultation and coaching. My goal in life is to impact the world the most positive way and leave it better, stronger and healthier than when I came into it.
